I am a freelance writer living in Toronto. Currently, I am completing the professional writing and communications graduate certificate at Humber College. I am also a graduate of the University of Toronto.
I enjoy writing non-fiction articles about comics and other pop culture subjects. But I also enjoy getting technical with my writing. Sometimes sitting down and writing up a report or a proposal can be a nice change of pace from writing about comic reviews, and it us just as enjoyable.
Armed with a BA in Cinema Studies and English from U of T, I am a certified film and book expert. Over the years I have honed my superhuman ability to analyze, critique and review any piece of media put before me.
One of my favorite past times is buying comics and books, filling my shelves with them and then neglecting to read them because I’m too busy with work.
Occasionally, I will read one or two and write about it on my blog.
When I’m not sitting in front of a computer, writing my latest blog post or article, you can usually find me on stage or in front of a camera. I have been acting in the GTA for over 15 years. I have performed in the Toronto Fringe Festival, acted in a Hart House Theatre production and had a supporting role in an episode of the TV show Motives and Murder.
In 2012, I co-funded Bygone Theatre, an independent theatre company dedicated to producing plays that draw inspiration from classical Hollywood films. To date, I have co-produced three shows with Bygone: Doubt, Dial M For Murder and Rope.
